BD - You seem a bit ambiguous. I'm not sure how you truly feel.

Go Hokies!!!

Your Hokies just can't catch a break on those desperation, last second half-court shots by the opposing team. Greenberg is a really good coach and I expect him to get better as he draws more and more talent to Blacksburg.

And damn, I really don't want to play Wake twice this year. They are very good. Teague played out of his head yesterday.

Technically they are my daughter's Hokies. Those last second shots illicited some language from my daughter I hadn't heard since Election Day.

I am a 1983 Annapolis grad and now a Hokie Dad. I figure being a Naval Academy alum I am allowed to adopt a Division I team to follow after the obligatory, yet futile, backing of Navy footbal and basketball. But at least we have a 100% student athlete graduation and post graduation employment rate.

Well, I was at the Meadowlands in '86 when we had to go through David Robinson to get to the Final Four - that was not a bad squad. And I hear some old Dallas Cowboy quarterback did ok there back in the day.

BTW, I love Annapolis and have immense respect for those that get into the academy. Kudos.

SDH and I are in shock. Complete shock.

We had both been under the bandwagon for so long, it feels kinda awkward to pull ourselves out from under it...but, we're hanging on for dear life.

Still hate mge, locally, but gotta appreciate the rec'ers, eh?
